§07§§Composite materials are engineered materials, made from two or more constituents with significantly different physical or chemical properties which remain separate on a macroscopic level within the finished structure. Due to their special mechanical and physical properties they have the potential to replace conventional materials. § §16§§A significant effort is being put on to produce special materials for highly demanding applications for industrial sectors. These needs can be met by utilizing varieties of waste residues or by-products of several industrial, agricultural and natural process and turning them into practical and sustainable products.
