CITY POEMS - A SELECTION OF POEMS (ACCENT TONIQUE)

"City Poems depicts such aching urban loneliness. Is it possible our cities are filled with residents who look so much like exiles and refugees ? At first you notice the hard sorrowful pavements. Then you read closer. Little moments of beauty, brave smiling humor, wind, snow, and fog. How tough. How vulnerable. Mbarek Sryfi has written a lovely & necessary book." Andrew Schelling, poet and translator, author of Tracks Along the Left Coast : Jaime de Angulo & Pacific Coast Culture.
