Whatever past has brought you here, the future is yours to decide. Your journey across the land may leave a trail of blood and vengeance and your pockets fill with stolen gold. The poor may cower or cheer as you steam past, the rich quake or sneer. One thing is sure: wherever the roar of your Ferguson velosteam is heard, the Steam Highwayman approaches!
The region is dominated by powerful guilds and the skies are full with airships carrying rich passengers and expensive freights. Will you join with the feared Captain Coke, or deliver him to justice? Will you side with the Coal Board in their machinations against the Telegraph Guild? Will you rise through society to mix with the gentry and beat them at their own games of croquet?
Steam Highwayman is an open-world adventure gamebook series in which you, the reader, must choose your path through an alternate Steampunk history. With a pair of dice and a pencil you can track your adventure through an England that never was, discovering secrets, solving quests, rescuing those in need and punishing those who deserve vengeance. The midnight road calls!
