Old Story New : Ten-Minute Devotions to Draw Your Family to God

Old Story New is a practical, gospel-centered family devotional that helps parents guide their children through the New Testament in clear, engaging, ten-minute readings. Written by bestselling children’s author Marty Machowski, this theologically rich yet accessible resource helps families continue the story begun in Long Story Short by tracing God’s plan of salvation through the life of Jesus and the birth of the church. Through seventy-eight New Testament stories filled with drama, wonder, and hope, children are introduced to the big truths of the Christian faith in a way that is understandable, relatable, and rooted in redemptive history. Designed for families with children from preschool through high school, Old Story New uses a simple, repeatable format that makes family devotions easier to sustain. It also serves as a companion to The Gospel Story Bible, reinforcing and expanding on its teaching so children can better connect individual stories to the larger gospel narrative centered on Jesus.
