This is a reprint of a 2002 book (Afton Historical Society Press), which was published as a companion to a television series by Lorraine Norrgard. Through a combination of text and photos (many of them historical), this presentation encompasses the history, culture, and current activities of the Ojibwe people. Thomas Peacock (education, U. of Minnesota, Duluth), a member of the tribe himself, wrote the text; Wisuri assembled the historical photos and created some of contemporary life.
