Subtitled 'A study of changing settlement strategies among the Kunghit Haida', this book presents evidence for changing settlement patterns among one of the tribes in the southern Queen Charlotte Islands, British Columbia. The study shows that small, widely dispersed, nucleated villages were the prevailing pattern prior to historical contact.
