Summer break is finally here! But instead of spending time at the shore or in the mall like most teens, Frankie Caridi is spending her time on the Pythagorean Institute's campus playing host to a mysterious group of people known as the Listeners... What could go wrong?
Frankie Caridi is finally coming into her own. Capturing rogue spirits? Simple. Levitating? Easy. Getting along with her mother? A work in progress, but progressing! All in all, things are going well for Frankie. Until former cult members return to the Institute and suddenly she has to face her biggest challenge yet—coming to terms with the truth of her past.
As Frankie realizes that her visions aren't just dreams, but memories of her own past lives, she must learn who she was without forgetting who she is. And when unexpected betrayals lead to a trip into the Oblivion, Frankie risks losing everything while wondering if she ever really knew anyone. From campus bonding to cross-country road trips, this follow-up to The 66th Rebirth of Frankie Caridi explores the tensions between nature and nurture, questions how our past impacts our present, and asks us to ponder who gets to write our narratives.
