Irish Research : A Guide to Collections in North America, Ireland, and Great Britain (Bibliographies and Indexes in World History)

This volume fills a conspicuous gap in the literature by providing the first resource guide devoted solely to Irish research collections located on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Organized geographically, the book covers the United States, Canada, Great Britain, and Ireland and provides comprehensive information about significant Irish collections in such areas as literature, history, current events, biography, Celtic studies, and the arts. Fully indexed and cross referenced, the guide will enable researchers to discover what is available and where it is located, systematically plan itineraries for visiting collections, and better determine duplication among collections.
